Needing to vent about a lecture-y status update.
This status communicated that people are considered by this person to be cold, uncaring and even vapid for not taking advantage of the opportunity FB provides to spread awareness of injustice or horrific practices in the many different realms of society today.
If you want to post horrific photos of abused animals on FB so that you can spread awareness that animal abuse is wrong and awful, fine. But shut the hell up if you're hoping I'll feel guilty for not posting similar things on my profile, signing every petition you post, like your pictures, or commenting on everything.
Don't make the mistake of thinking that I don't care about a given issue just because I choose not to preach on Facebook.

Yep.
I find that most of my friends do what they can. I don't shop at Wal*Mart and walk everywhere but don't volunteer at animal shelters or give money very often. It's not that I don't care, it's that I can't do everything.
